What We Offer

Ladysmith Equestrian offers adult only horse riding lessons for all abilities, from beginners to more advanced riders. Embark on your horse-riding journey with us, if you don’t have your own horse, you can ride on one of ours. We stand out from traditional riding schools, holding a fully licensed 5-star rating from Swindon Borough Council (Riding School Licence number 22/1924/ANHIRE). Ladysmith Equestrian are members of the ABRS (Association of British Riding Schools).

Lessons are run by Rose Coley BHSII BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach, Rose will support you in improving your riding skills, building confidence, having fun and achieving your equestrian goals. Our focus is on providing private and semi-private tuition exclusively for adult riders in a quiet and welcoming environment. Tailored to your individual needs, our lessons aim to boost confidence getting riders to the next step, whether you ride for fun or are looking towards competing.

Join our monthly pole work clinics and enjoy in-house competitions designed for our clients’ fun and progression.

Lesson Schedule & Price list

Lessons are run on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays. Horse riding lessons are conducted by Rose Coley, BHSII BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach.

Private Lesson (45 minutes) on a school horse: £80 (Buy a block of 4 private lessons, £75 per lesson, £300 to be paid in advance at time of booking for riders looking to ride weekly)
Private Lesson (30 minutes) on a school horse: £70
Semi-Private Lesson (2 riders 45 minutes) on a school horse: £70 each
1 Hour Private Hack on a school horse with Senior Coach: £95
Private Lesson (45 minutes) on your own horse: £55
Semi-Private Lesson (2/3 riders) on your own horse: £35
NEW – NON RIDDEN INTRODUCTION TO HORSES: these lessons are for anyone who is new to horses (or returning to horses) and are curious to discover how amazing horses are. You will learn how to interact with horses in a calm and positive way. (90 minutes) £75

Payment & Policies

All lessons and courses to be paid in full, in advance at time of booking.

STRICT WEIGHT LIMIT of 13.5 stone/85kg (inc. riding clothing) for the welfare of our horses. We do weigh all clients, Please ensure you know your weight before you book in, Riders over our limit will not be permitted to ride. We cannot refund lessons if you are found to have given misinformation.

48-hour cancellation notice applies to all bookings; no refund with less than 48-hour notice.
