At Ladysmith Equestrian horse welfare is at the heart of all we do. We pride ourselves on providing a safe environment for horses to thrive in, in a beautiful and quiet location. Ladysmith offers a warm and inclusive livery yard, where both our team and clients contribute to creating a friendly atmosphere. Our clientele includes a diverse mix of competitive and non-competitive riders, and we prioritise accommodating the unique needs of everyone. Our Full Livery Yard Package Features:

Year-Round Turnout: We provide all year turnout for every horse here 365 days of the year, turnout is one of our top priorities for horse welfare. Horses enjoy all-day/night turnout throughout the year in well-maintained paddocks, we have 35 acres with an excellent acreage to horse ratio resulting in happy horses.
Well-maintained fields: We invest in excellent grassland management, offering optimum grass levels for your horse. If your horse is getting too large or requires more grass, we can move them to a different paddock. We have the advantage of chalk soil.
Versatile Turnout Options: Individual, pairs, or small group turnout is available, tailored to suit your horse’s needs.
Secure Fencing: Our paddocks are enclosed with quality post and horse rail fencing, providing safety without relying on temporary solutions like electric tape.
Scenic Hacking Trails: Enjoy fantastic off-road hacking along The Ridgeway and Marlborough Downs.
On-Site Qualified Staff: Our knowledgeable staff, available 24/7, ensure the well-being of your horse with regular evening checks.
Purpose-Built Livery Stables: Well-maintained brick stables at our livery yard provide a comfortable home for your horse.
Arena Access: Enjoy full use of the arena, with limited adult-only riding lessons, providing more exclusive access for our clients.
Health and Wellness Measures: A rigorous worming program and regular checks, along with access to farrier, vet, dentist, and equine chiropractor services.
Professional Coaching: As a BHSII Accredited Professional Coach, Rosemary is here to support you in improving your riding skills, building confidence, and achieving your equestrian goals.

Livery Packages Available:

Full Basic Livery 7 days a week.
Full Livery (including grooming and exercising) 7 days a week.
Working Livery (for horses suitable for the riding school license).

Note: We do not offer D.I.Y. livery.
